Doctoral Student Area

The PhD Program in Architecture and Design has a dedicated area for doctoral students located on the second floor of the Sant’Agostino building. This space consists of two classrooms, one for each curriculum of the program, and a meeting room accessible to both faculty and doctoral students.

Facilities and Capacity

  • Design Curriculum Classroom: 11 workstations, each equipped with a desk and a personal locker. The classroom features a 75-inch monitor, Wi-Fi connection, teleconferencing equipment, and a heat pump air conditioning system.

  • Architecture Curriculum Classroom: 13 workstations, each equipped with a desk and a personal locker. The classroom features a 75-inch monitor, Wi-Fi connection, teleconferencing equipment, and a heat pump air conditioning system.

  • Meeting Room: shared table with 8 workstations, communal lockers, and heat pump air conditioning.

Usage Regulations

The spaces are reserved for doctoral students enrolled in active cycles, with access granted from November 1 of the starting year until October 30 of the final year.

Each doctoral student is assigned a locker with a key, which can be collected at the PhD office upon registration. The key is personal and the sole responsibility of its holder.

The department is not responsible for any loss or damage, either to the provided facilities or to personal items left in the premises.

Safety rules

It is strictly forbidden to store in the premises:

  • Flammable materials or objects that could produce open flames.

  • Substances hazardous to the safety of the space.

  • Food or perishable items.

Access to the area

Access is regulated by the reception desk. To enter, it is necessary to request the key, after verification of your name on the list of active doctoral students.

Please note that:

  • The last person leaving the premises must return the key to the reception.

  • The key cannot be kept beyond the permitted usage time, not even for short periods; it must be returned immediately upon leaving.

  • The person who collects the key is responsible for its safekeeping until it is returned.
